BRAINTREE, Mass.--Liberty Bay Credit Union has promoted several key members of the management team.
“These are outstanding leaders who combine deep technical competencies with strong collaboration skills,” said President Lyndon Matteson.
- Joseph Bean will serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. Bean will oversee all aspects of Commercial, Residential and Consumer Lending. Prior to joining Liberty Bay, Bean was President and CEO, serving for 38 years, of the recently acquired Hingham Federal Credit Union. Preceding this promotion, Bean was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Lending.
- Peter Dennis has been named Executive Vice President of Affinity Banking. He will also oversee Corporate Communications and Marketing. Dennis was Senior Vice President of Business Development, Marketing and Retail Services. Dennis initially
joined Liberty Bay in 2014 as a consultant.
- James Quinn has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for all staff functions. He will also oversee facilities administration. Quinn previously served as Liberty Bay’s Senior Vice President Administration and Vice President of Human Resources.
- Kathy Peila will serve as Senior Vice President of Project Administration. Peila’s prior role with Liberty Bay was as First Vice President Project Management and Deposit Operations. Peila was employed at Boston Private Bank for 25 years.
- George Kelly will serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategic Officer. Leading up to this promotion, Kelly served for four years as Vice President, Finance and Risk. Kelly has held past positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers as well as Corporate Finance Group (CFGI).
- Stephen Fulchini will continue to head up Information Technologies as Senior Vice President. Fulchini has been employed at Liberty Bay for 33 years with past roles as First Vice President of Information Technologies and Manager of Deposit and Retail Operations.
- Fred Williams has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Williams’s prior role was as First Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Williams has also held positions with Peoples Federal Savings Bank (PEOP) and Danversbank (DNBK), among others.
