ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. – The League of Southeastern Credit Unions has wrapped up its C-Suite Summit at the Barnsley Resort.
The inaugural event brought together top credit union executives to explore the latest industry trends, deepen their expertise, and cultivate invaluable relationships, according to the association.
“The Summit showcased influential speakers who provided insights into various aspects of the financial landscape,” LSCU said. “Dr. Roger C. Tutterow, Professor & Henssler Financial Endowed Chair Finance and Quantitative Analysis at Kennesaw State University, offered a comprehensive analysis of the economic, business, and political climate.”
In addition, Scott Butterfield, principal and Founder of Your Credit Union Partner, led discussions on fostering a positive board and management culture for growth and relevance, according to LSCU.
"The 2023 C-Suite Summit highlighted the importance of C-Suite employees coming together to share their experiences, discuss successful strategies, and learn from industry experts,” said Samantha Beeler, president of LSCU. “This unique event exemplified the need to foster the next generation of leaders through innovation and discussions across the board."
Other speakers at the event included David Southall, CEO of Innovations Financial Credit Union in Panama City, Fla., who “shed light on how credit union leaders can improve internal processes to become more efficient at their institution.”
“The Summit also offered engaging breakout sessions and discussions covering various topics, including financial wellness, strategies for staying relevant, and executive benefits plans,” LSCU added.
