LGE Community Credit Union Named to Newsweek’s America’s Best Credit Unions List for Third Straight Year

ATLANTA – LGE Community Credit Union has been recognized as one of America’s Best Credit Unions 2026 by Newsweek for the third consecutive year, the CU reported.

In addition, LGE was one of only four Georgia-based credit unions to earn a five-star rating.

Newsweek, in collaboration with Plant-A Insights Group, conducted an extensive evaluation of credit unions across the United States. The selection process included a comprehensive analysis of financial health and consumer sentiment. A large-scale independent survey of over 140,000 U.S. citizens, along with 2.3 million social media reviews and 80 million app store reviews, contributed to the final rankings.

"We are honored to be recognized as one of America's Best Credit Unions by Newsweek for the third consecutive year," said Chris Leggett, president and CEO of LGE Community Credit Union. "This accolade reflects our unwavering dedication to delivering best-in-class financial products, personalized member service, and expert advice to the communities we serve."
