LONG BEACH, Calif.–LBS Financial Credit Union joined with numerous other CUs across the country to celebrate Miracle Jeans Day. To help rasie funds for Children’s Miracle Network, LBS Financial reported its employees had the opportunity to trade their work attire for jeans by donating $5 or more. Employee donations amounted to $1,000, which the credit union matched to make for a final contribution of $2,000.
Separately, the CU partnered with three local school districts to collect school supplies for this school year. LBS FCU joined with ABC Unified School District, Bellflower Unified School District, and Long Beach Unified School District, on the sixth annual Adopt-A-School program. Employees also raised and donated $1,500, which the credit union matched.
