LAFCU Promotes Five Employees

LANSING, Mich. — LAFCU has announced the promotions of five employees to new positions in offices throughout mid-Michigan. 

Jamie Antclif

Theresa Carie is now assistant vice president card services; new assistant branch managers are Jamie Antcliff at the Owosso and Corunna branches, Justin Tuck at the Charlotte branch, and Jamell Williams at the West Lansing branch; and Alyssa Sliger is marketing and communications specialist.

“These employees have earned their promotions through their hard work and proven dedication to LAFCU and its members,” said Patrick Spyke, LAFCU executive vice president. “We are pleased to recognize their accomplishments by promoting them to the next level in their careers.”

Justin Tuck

As assistant vice president card services, Carie is responsible for managing LAFCU’s credit and debit card portfolios, enhancing new card programs and improving member experiences through technology and staff development. The 23-year credit union veteran joined LAFCU in 2012 and previously served as assistant branch manager of the LAFCU Owosso and Corunna branches. The Owosso resident has further enhanced her skills by completing professional training for individual retirement accounts, mortgages, lending and credit cards. 

 In the role of assistant branch manager, Antcliff, Tuck and Williams are responsible for supervising member service employees as well as teller and lending functions. They also represent LAFCU in the community and participate in events that promote the organization and its members. All previously served as senior member service representatives.

Theresa Carie

Antcliff, of Owosso, began as a teller at LAFCU 17 years ago. She graduated from Northwood University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management.

Tuck, of Lansing, joined LAFCU in 2014 and has worked in the financial industry for seven years. He holds an associate degree in accounting from Lansing Community College.

Williams, of East Lansing, has 12 years of financial industry experience and has been with LAFCU for a year. He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Michigan State University. 

In the position of marketing and communications specialist, Sliger’s duties include supporting marketing strategies and planning and assisting with youth programs and community involvement, graphic design and social media management. The Grand Ledge resident began at LAFCU in 2014 as marketing intern and holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising management from Michigan State University.
