LANSING, Mich. — LAFCU leaders joined local officials and community partners, to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) development in Perry, Michigan that will bring expanded services to the area.
An ITM combines the convenience of an ATM with the personal service of a live teller, allowing members to conduct many in-branch transactions — such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, account inquires, and loan payments — through a video connection with a remote LAFCU teller during business hours, plus 24/7 ATM access.
The new location at 2800 W. Lansing Road marks LAFCU’s first permanent presence in Perry since relocating from Carl’s Supermarket. The two-lane drive-thru will offer members convenient banking technology in a secure format.
“Today’s groundbreaking marks another exciting step in how we’re serving our members where they are,” said Patrick Spyke, LAFCU CEO. “This new ITM development will give the Perry community a simple, secure, and personal way to do their banking — with real LAFCU people on the other end of the screen. As our friends at Clark Construction shared, LAFCU isn’t just building a building; we’re helping build a community and a culture of people helping people — and that’s exactly what this offering is all about.”
