LOS ANGELES--To help the hungry, 24 Los Angeles Federal Credit Union (LAFCU) employee volunteers served lunch to approximately 500 homeless people at The Midnight Mission in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles.
In addition to serving lunch, the volunteers prepared food for that night’s dinner and donated $2,500, which went toward the purchase of 1,250 more meals.
