MIAMI LAKES, Fla.--JetStream Federal Credit Union has once again collaborated with The EDGE for their annual holiday toy drive.
For the past 12 years, JetStream members and employees have participated in The EDGE’s annual toy drive by donating hundreds of toys to South Florida’s most vulnerable children. This year Jetstream’s Miami Lakes and Doral branches served as collection sites and accepted new, unwrapped toys.
“Our members and employees look forward to participating in the toy drive each year; however, this year we understand that it is more important than ever to help support our community. Having our branches serve as collection sites enables us to expand our reach by facilitating the collection of more toys this year than ever before,” said Vanessa Miranda, AVP of HR and Community Relations for Jetstream.
The EDGE (The Early Development of Global Education) Charitable Foundation delivers toys annually to migrant families and children victimized by domestic abuse and human trafficking in South Florida. This year The EDGE expects to deliver toys to over 3,000 local children.
“Our toy drive is one of our biggest events for giving back to the community because of the children we serve right here in South Florida” stated Mercy Hernandez, founder of The Edge.
