MIAMI LAKES, Fla.–JetStream Federal Credit Union participated in the 75th Anniversary commemorative ceremony of the Miami Airport Tower at Miami International Airport. A beautiful anniversary poster was presented to CEO, Jeanne Kucey, for JetStream’s sponsorship of the luncheon held at the event.
Many South Florida dignitaries were present, including Deputy Mayor of Miami-Dade County Jack Osterholt, Dr. Emilio Gonzalez, Director of Miami-Dade Aviation Department, Tim Arel, VP of the Federal Aviation Administration, and various representatives from Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen and Congressman Diaz-Balart’s office. The current employees placed many items that are in use today to direct air traffic in a specially created time capsule. The capsule is to be opened when the Tower celebrates its 100th anniversary.
JetStream Federal was a proud sponsor of this prestigious event as it shares a long 68 year history with the FAA. The employees of the FAA in Miami were the founding members of the credit union. We congratulate the FAA and all the men and women who helped create this shared history at Miami International Airport.
