The “40 Under 40” award recognizes individuals in the Nashua area who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities within the organizations and companies they represent, as well as their efforts that have made a positive impact on the entire community.

“I'm very grateful to have been chosen to be a recipient of the first "40 Under 40" class of the Nashua Telegraph,” Isaksen says. “It is great to share this honor with 39 other young leaders, many of whom I get to call my friends. We lead by example, empower and inspire each other to go above and beyond for our vibrant community.”

Isaksen is involved with several organizations in Nashua, including Positive Street Art, where she serves as Treasurer, iUGO Nashua's Young Professionals, a branch of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, Nashua Arts Commission committee and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua event and planning committee. She also supports many other community non-profits by attending fundraising events.

“The contributions I have made to the city of Nashua have been from my pure heart by volunteering my time and getting involved to make it a better place to stay, work and play for others,” Isaksen says.

She has many accomplishments within the Nashua community. She founded the Downtown Art Movement series, a program of Positive Street Art. The program partners local artists with businesses to hold paint nights, pop-up art showcases, and more. She also played a major role in creating and planning the annual Downtown Art Festival, and initiated the idea of Positive Street Art’s most recent “Take Courage” mural. The mural is a work hope art piece that remembers community members who were sadly lost to addiction and inspires those seeking recovery.

As a Business Services Advisor at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, with Nashua being one of her focused territories, Isaksen assists local businesses with their banking and financial needs, helping them to establish or grow their business, and achieve long-term success.

“It's important to be involved with your local community because it can open doors of leadership, friendship and opportunity,” she says. “When you give your time through volunteerism and get involved, you can make a great and positive impact on both your personal and professional life and your community,” she adds.
