LOWELL – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union has promoted two long-time employees: Sheila Fortin to Vice President - Operational Risk Management, and Runny Huoth to Assistant Treasurer - Branch Manager.
Fortin joined Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in 2004 and served in her previous position as Assistant Vice President - Corporate Security since 2008. During her time at the Credit Union, Fortin has created and implemented various programs and processes aimed to alleviate risk while also focusing on compliance matters. Her responsibilities in her new role include managing risk as it relates to cybersecurity and third-party vendors, information and physical security, as well as incident response. Fortin is looking forward to educating both employees and members on preventing, detecting and responding to a wide-array of security threats. A Lawrence resident, Fortin holds a bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College and is currently pursuing the designation of a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
Huoth, a Lowell resident, has also been an employee of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union since 2004. She began her career as a Teller at the Dracut Lakeview Avenue branch and worked her way to earn multiple titles, including Member Service Representative, Senior Member Service Representative and her previous title as Assistant Branch Manager. In her new role as Branch Manager, she will oversee the daily operations of the Credit Union’s Tyngsboro branch. She is excited to successfully manage and coach the Tyngsboro branch team and to help Tyngsboro branch members make smart financial choices. Huoth holds diplomas from the Center for Financial Training for Advanced Financial Services and Consumer Lending. She has also completed several certification courses.
