LOWELL – Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of long-time employee Kara Doyle to Vice President of Commercial Lending.
With over 20 years’ experience in the financial industry, Doyle will now oversee all aspects of the Commercial Lending Department, including business development, processing and closing of commercial loans, portfolio management and all administrative functions within the department. She will also lead the Commercial Lending Team with an emphasis on professional development and team building.
Doyle is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She began as a Jeanne D’Arc team member in 2003 as a Residential/Commercial Loan Originator, where she worked for seven years until moving up to Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Origination and then to Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending.
Some of Doyle’s accomplishments at the Credit Union include creating a branch training program which increased lending referrals from in-branch staff, developing and implementing a First Time Homebuyer Seminar which continues to be successful today and initiating the selection and implementation of an on-line residential lending system. In her role as AVP/Commercial Lending, Doyle contributed to significant growth in commercial lending through the cultivation of strategic relationships.
Her dedication also lends itself to the greater community on the Advisory Board of Salvation Army, on the Board of Directors of The Rotary Club of Lowell, on the Executive Committee of Lowell Development & Finance Corporation and the Executive Committee of Downtown Venture Fund. She is also involved with the Merrimack Valley Hospice House and Home Health Foundation, and is a member of Lowell’s civic engagement program, Public Matters.
Doyle currently resides in Pepperell, MA with her husband, Al, and 10-year-old daughter, Riley.
