Jeanne D’Arc CU Promotes Beaudoin and Hughes

LOWELL, Mass. –  Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union has promoted Matthew Beaudoin to Assistant Vice President Regional Branch Manager, and Alison Hughes to Assistant Treasurer – Community Engagement Officer.

In his new role as Assistant Vice President – Regional Branch Manager, Beaudoin will continue to manage the Chelmsford branch in addition to overseeing the Nashua, Westford and Tyngsboro branch locations.

Beaudoin joined the credit union in 2009 as a Member Service Supervisor and quickly worked his way to Assistant Treasurer ­­­Branch Manager in 2013 assuming overall responsibility for the Tyngsboro branch operations and staff. In 2016, Beaudoin transferred to the Chelmsford branch location where he has continued to lead and develop staff while ensuring each member receives legendary service. He is a graduate of UMass Lowell where he received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and his undergraduate degree in Political Science, the CU said.

Alison Hughes

In Hughes’ new role as Assistant Treasurer – Community Engagement Officer, she will focus on developing relationships with community and non-profit leaders to promote Jeanne D’Arc and the We Share A Common Thread Foundation, the CU said.

Hughes joined the Credit Union in 2017 and has been heavily involved in developing new initiatives such as the “Tales for Tails” reading program benefiting the YMCA, and was a key member of the We Share A Common Thread Foundation fundraiser. In 2014, she was elected to the Board of Selectman for the town of Dracut, MA and continues to serve in this role today. She previously served as Madame Chair for two years and was also a member of the town’s Finance Committee. She is a Past President for the Booster Club at St. Jeanne D’Arc School in Lowell.
