Inspire FCU Fills Mary's Cupboard

BRISTOL, Penn.–Inspire Federal Credit Union employees and members donated more than 400 pounds of food and hygiene products to Mary’s Cupboard – a non-profit food pantry whose mission is to ensure low-income households in Bucks County have access to resources for food and basic nutritional needs.

The food drive, which began on November 30th, was created by Inspire Federal Credit Union in an effort to continue strengthening their strong ties within the Bucks County community, while also making sure that everyone has a safe and happy holiday season.

“This food drive makes it easy for employees and members to donate to their community,” said Brian Phillips, Assistant Vice President of Relationship Development. “We’re incredibly proud to support our community, and we are humbled by the generous donations that we’ve received from our Bucks County family and neighbors. With these donations, Mary’s Cupboard can provide to those who may not have easy access to life’s necessities.”

With the success of this food drive, Inspire Federal Credit Union said it will be partnering with the United Way of Lower Bucks County, officially becoming the first ever official sponsor of United Way’s “Operation Helping Hands” food drive – set to take place in early-2016.
