IMCU Debit Card Generates $10K for Cancer Agency

INDIANAPOLIS– Indiana Members Credit Union recently presented a check for $10,000 to Little Red Door Cancer Agency as part of its exclusive Cancer Awareness Debit Card Program.

IMCU members nominate a different local cancer related organization to be the beneficiary each year.  Little Red Door Cancer Agency was the selected beneficiary for the past year, receiving a contribution for each signature based transaction made with the card from March 2020-February 2021.

Thorpe Miller, VP-business development & marketing with IMCU, presented the check to Fed Duncan, director and CEO with Little Red Door Cancer Agency.

“Thank you to Indiana Members Credit Union and their members for supporting Little Red Door Cancer Agency,” said Fed Duncan, Director and CEO of Little Red Door Cancer Agency.  “For over 75 years, we have been providing critical services to cancer patients in the community and this wouldn’t be possible without donors and partners like IMCU. Thank you.”

Added Miller, “Little Red Door Cancer Agency provides an invaluable service to patients dealing with the spectrum of difficulties that arise from a Cancer diagnosis.  The overwhelming popularity of our Cancer Awareness debit card shows that our members love to support these programs.  Indiana Members Credit Union is happy to be the conduit that connects that support to a great cause.”

The new beneficiary for the IMCU Cancer Awareness Debit Card will be announced in the coming weeks on IMCU’s website and social media platforms.
