IMCU Card Raises Funds for Health Foundation

INDIANAPOLIS–Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) presented a check for $3,129 to Community Health Network Foundation as part of an ongoing debit card give back program.

The partnership allows members to show their support of the independent nonprofit hospital system by signing up for and using a Community Health Network debit card.  Every time the card is used as a signature based transaction, Community Health Network Foundation benefits.  The more cards that are in use, the larger the contribution.  Since beginning the program in 2017, Community Health Network Foundation has earned $14,734 through this IMCU giveback program.

James Abbett, Business development officer, IMCU, and Thorpe Miller, VP-business development & marketing, IMCU presented the check to Jennifer Bolander, director of development, dorporate and Foundation Giving, Community Health Network Foundation and Rob Baker, VP-foundation perations, Community Health Network Foundation,

Proceeds from the debit card give back program will benefit the Community Health Network Foundation Dale Fleming Fund, established in memory of Dale Fleming, an employee of the Human Resources department at Community Health Network who passed away after a long battle with cancer. The Dale Fleming Fund provides immediate assistance for funeral expenses, travel expenses for attending a funeral or caring for a terminally ill employee or immediate family member.

The card is available for issue to members at IMCU’s 33 locations.
