IC FCU's Change For Charity Keeps Contributing to Community

FITCHBURG, Mass. –IC FCU has named the most recent recipient of funds as part of its Change for Charity program, which gives a percentage of all coin machine processed dollars to local organizations that provide a service to the community. To date this program has donated over $15,000 to organizations such as the GVNA, the Boys & Girls Clubs, Veterans Centers, and HealthAlliance services

Employees likewise take a proactive approach to this concept by not only contributing to local organizations via their United Way campaign pledges of $15,000, but in 2010, employees found a “Jeans for Charity” program, (first of its kind), helping and supporting community organizations by paying to wear jeans on Friday or Saturdays. To date, they have donated more than $50,000. Employees also volunteer every year at charitable organizations and events.

The CU donated more than $115,000 to charities during 2015.
