FITCHBURG, Mass.–IC Credit Union’s Care to Share Charitable Giving Program continues to give back a share of income derived from debit card swipes generated by anyone who has a debit card with IC Federal Credit Union.
It recently donated $1,000 to St. Anna Church.
“It’s quite simple,” said Jennifer Maguy, community relationship coordinator at IC. “Designate an IC partnered school to your debit card, make your usual debit purchases, and we’ll donate to the school. You swipe, we give!”
“IC has been helping our community for over 90 years,” added Carolyn Perla, SVP at IC, “and we are proud of our programs that support our schools, and this check for $1,000 gives them a jumpstart on the program.”
“We are thankful for this opportunity to raise funds for our school,” said Renee Legendre, Principal. “It’s a win-win! There is no cost to the participant, all they need is an IC account with a debit card; the more they swipe in our name, the more proceeds we receive.”
