IC FCU Promotion Ties Into National Education Week

FITCHBURG, Mass.– IC Federal Credit Union has launched a special Member Education Promotion to coincide with National Education Week.

“It’s a win-win,” said Tony Emerson, president and CEO.

Members are automatically entered into a bi-weekly drawing where two winners per week, per promotion, are chosen at random. According to Carolyn Perla, AVP of Retail, “So far we have awarded nine Intelligent Checking account holders $25 each, and four have chosen their $250 donation destination.”

The following education programs have received $250: Mary Rowlandson Elementary School in Lancaster, the Boys & Girls Club of North Central Mass, Lilliput School in Shrewsbury, and Monty Tech’s AP Environmental Science class.

“On the student side,” added Perla, “eight account holders were awarded $100 each thus far.”
