FITCHBURG, Mass.--IC FCU has named John F. Fairbanks to its Supervisory Committee.
Fairbanks is a current resident of Westminster where he resides with his wife, Debbie, of 49 years, and two grown children, Sarah of Westfield and Brian and wife, Natasha, of Quincy. He completed military service as Lieutenant Colonel, served on the Westminster Board of Selectmen for 12 years, was a member of the Westminster Finance Committee for six years, served eight years on the Nashua Valley Boy Scout Council board, and is an Eagle Scout. He is also on Westminster’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors board. Fairbanks earned an MS in Systems Management and a BA in Economics, and his work experience ranges from military management, accounting/comptroller, and chief of business operations. “John will be a great addition to our Supervisory Committee given his vast knowledge and experience in finance,” said Tony Emerson, President & CEO of IC. “And I know I speak for the other members when I say we are looking forward to working with him.”
