FITCHBURG, Mass.–Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry is the fifth recipient of $4,000 through IC Credit Union’s “Empower” initiative.
“The past year has been a very difficult one, with over 800 families receiving food and hope thanks to many giving individuals, businesses and community groups,” said Patricia Stern, executive director of Loaves and Fishes. “To keep everyone safe, our volunteers are delivering food to a recipient’s car.”
“Loaves & Fishes has been a vital part of the Ayer community for many years,” said Holly Sanchez, SVP at IC, “and we are in awe of their dedication and are happy to do our part.”
