WINCHENDON, Mass.–IC Credit Union has made a $4,000 donation to the Old Murdock Senior Center Food Pantry. It is the fourth donation IC Credit Union has given through its “Empower” initiative.
“Since the shutdown of many businesses locally due to Covid-19, two senior center staff members deliver, on average, 100 meals per day to Winchendon residents,” said Sheila Bettro, director of the Center. “In addition, the center is open for grab and go lunches daily, and we are sincerely grateful for this donation, it will help a great deal.”
“The Old Murdock Senior Center has been a vital part of this community for many years,” said Jennifer Maguy, community coordinator at IC, “and we are grateful for their service.”
