FITCHBURG, Mass. – IC Credit Union has donated $4,000 through its “Empower – A Community Connection” program to Our Father’s House Food Pantry of Fitchburg. “Since July 1st of this year, we have assisted 211 families, which is approximately 560 people; and during our last fiscal year, which ended on June 30th, we provided pantry items to over 2900 people in our local communities,” said Judith Nest-Pasierb, executive director. “We are sincerely thankful to IC for their long-time support and for this generous donation.”
Added Carolyn Perla, SVP at IC, “As a part of this community, it’s important to all of us at IC that we do our part, and we are humbled to be able to assist, not only monetarily, but as volunteers, when needed as well.”
