FITCHBURG, Mass.–North Star Family Services of Leominster received a grant made possible by IC Federal Credit Union and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston’s Grant’s for New England Partnerships (GNP). The grant was in the amount of $2,500 and eligibility was based on a members’ participation in Community Development Advance (CDA) or Jobs for New England (JNE) programs to support small businesses and those impacted by Covid-19.
IC matched the amount through its “Empower” initiative, donating a total of $5,000 to North Star.
“After confirmation of our successful participation in the JNE program, the Leadership Team at IC voted to nominate North Star Family Services, Inc., of Leominster,” said Bruce Mathieu, SVP Commercial Lending.
