TUCSON, Ariz – Hughes Federal Credit Union is participating in the second annual Love My Credit Union Campaign, a video contest that awards tens of thousands of dollars to charities nationwide based upon votes from consumers. This year, Hughes has teamed with the University of Arizona Take Charge Cats to help raise money for their youth financial education programs. The collaboration includes the production of a video that can be viewed and voted on by going to VoteLoveMyCU.org/HughesFCU.
“Hughes is proud to be supporting the Take Charge Cats, through the University of Arizona Foundation, in this campaign,” said John Sansbury, chairman of the board. “The Take Charge Cats provide educational outreach efforts by improving the financial literacy of more than 21,000 young adults throughout Tucson high schools and community organizations. The Cats and Hughes have similar missions to make a positive difference in the financial lives of youth and adults in and we appreciate the community’s vote.”
