HEATH, Ohio– Hopewell Federal Credit Union presented the winner of its annual $1,000 scholarship with the award during a presenation at its facility here.
The honor was presented to Isaiah Rush, a recent graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School, who will depart in the fall to attend University of Dayton.
The credit union said Rush excels both academically and personally and has created a strong presence in the Johnstown community where he resides.
Below are just a few of his accolades.
- He is active – Varsity Cross Country, Tennis, Track, Campus Ministry, Engineering Club, Boy Scouts, and National Eagle Scout Association
- He is a volunteer – Adaptive Sports Connection Volunteer, Angels Persist Volunteer, Alter Server, Eucharistic Minister, and St. Vincent DePaul Volunteer
- He is intelligent – National Honor Society and 2021 Class Valedictorian
