HEATH/NEWARK/JOHNSTOWN, Ohio—Hopewell Federal Credit Union announced the winner of its annual $1,000 scholarship. This distinguished honor was awarded to Katie Gold, a recent graduate from Granville High School, who will attend Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Applicants were asked to reflect, with either an essay or 5-minute video, on what Hopewell could do to attract Generation Z and what would be needed to increase the products and services this generation utilized. Though a strong field of applicants came forward with submissions, Ms. Gold’s video submission was a standout and chosen as the 2018 Hopewell Federal Scholarship winner.
