HONOLULU–Hickam FCU has opened a newly built Pearl City Branch and Corporate Headquarters at 1260 Kuala Street in Pearl City, Hawaii. The Hickam FCU Pearl City Branch is the sixth branch for the credit union and is strategically located at the crossroads of Central and West Oahu, on the island of Oahu, in a bustling retail area anchored by Sam’s Club and the Pearl Highland Center and Walmart and the nearby Pearl City Gateway retail complex, the credit union reported.
“The Hickam Federal Credit Union Pearl City Branch was designed with the goal of serving the Hickam FCU membership with innovative services and delivery channels for an enhanced experience,” HFCU said. “The impressive 30,420 square foot, two-story building sits on 3.26 acres and showcases a bold transformation for the credit union. The brand-new Pearl City Branch on the ground floor aligns modern banking services with Hickam FCU's evolving and growing membership. The branch interior design features modern, bright colors, with clean architectural details. Interactive teller stations replace the traditional teller windows allowing members to stand side-by-side with the Hickam FCU branch staff to conduct transactions in a more welcoming and relaxed retail environment.”
The new facility consolidates several back office operations, call center and members service departments all under one roof and includes in its design an environment of openness and empowerment. The operational platform on the second floor incorporates all glass offices, open workstations, and collaboration centers that facilitate teamwork and the sharing of ideas and information.
In addition, the Hickam FCU Pearl City Branch includes two EV charging stations, ample parking, safety deposit boxes, and a convenient 24/7 state-of-the-art, drive-thru ATM that features envelope-free check and cash deposits to serve the well-travelled retail area.
The $575-million Hickam FCU has nearly 48,000 members.
