CHARLESTON, S.C.– Heritage Trust FCU held a free community shred day event, which was coordinated with Iron Mountain and Citadel Mall and which provided the local community with an opportunity to safely and securely dispose of sensitive documents.
Heritage Trust said it was excited to once again offer this annual service to the community. More than 3,000 lbs. of documents including medical bills, receipts, tax statements and credit card offers was shredded at this year’s event, according to Nise Lowell, Heritage Trust Public Relations Officer.
