CHARLESTON, S.C.--Heritage Trust FCU hosted its 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Legend Oaks Golf Club and raised $3,100 for the American Cancer Society.
Seventy-five players joined local businesses and industry leaders to show their support through personal donations and corporate sponsorships. Players also had the opportunity to celebrate this annual event with an awards ceremony following the tournament.
“We are grateful for the generosity from our players and sponsors as they help us combat this terrible disease,” said Heritage Trust CEO Jim McDaniel.
Separately, Heritage Trust also partnered with Joint Base Charleston by sponsoring their Annual Egg Hunts that took place at the Youth Sports Complex on Joint Base Charleston and Marrington Plantation on the Naval Weapons Station. Dozens of families attended these free events and participated in egg hunts for children of all ages and even a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Heritage Trust provided extra entertainment by having fun spring activities and crafts, sweet treats gave away fun-filled Easter baskets to two lucky winners! Heritage Trust also provided details about their new youth accounts and their online video game, Coindexter.
