MADISON, Wis.–The Heritage Credit Union Legacy Fund has announced donations to nine organizations for a combined total of $100,000.
The nine organizations include:
· CASA of West Central Illinois - $5,000
· Community Cupboard Pantry - $10,000
· Porchlight - $5,000
· Power House Youth Center - $5,000
· St. Vincent de Paul Phillips Food Pantry - $15,000
· The Salvation Army Dane County - $15,000
· The Salvation Army Galesburg IL - $15,000
· The Salvation Army of Rockford & Winnebago County - $15,000
· The Salvation Army Wisconsin & Upper Michigan - $15,000
The Heritage Credit Union Legacy Fund was established as part of the merger between Heritage Credit Union and Connexus Credit Union effective March 1, 2022. To provide a greater impact to the community, Connexus Credit Union’s philanthropic program, Connexus Cares, matched the Heritage Credit Union Legacy Fund donations for a total of $200,000, the credit union reported.
“These deserving recipients have a history of providing purposeful, life-changing programs for people of all needs. Our goal is to help these organizations not only sustain their operations, but grow them,” stated Heather Ristow, SVO-marketing at Connexus Credit Union. “The Heritage Credit Union Legacy Fund and Connexus Cares’ donation team is honored to provide these donations so that each organization can focus on doing what matters most: providing meaningful services that improve lives and benefit our communities.”
