Heartland CU Creates 'Blizzard' of Support for CMN

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn.–On  Miracle Treat Day, Heartland Credit Union offered to buy members a Blizzard from Dairy Queen to thank them for their membership, while helping raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. More than 60 Heartland members across the United States took advantage of the offer.

This year marked the 11th year of Miracle Treat Day, where $1 or more is donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for every Blizzard sold at a participating DQ store.

“It was a fun way to give back to our members, while raising money for a great cause,” said Kathy Harrington, Heartland’s president, in a released statement. “This was our first year doing this and we look forward to next year and even more members taking advantage of it.”
