HONOLULU— Hawaii State Federal Credit Union has elected Darcy Endo-Omoto, vice president and executive advisor to the CEO at Hawaiian Electric Industries and Hawaiian Electric, to its nine-member volunteer board of directors.
Endo-Omoto brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in the legal, energy and public policy sectors. A Hawaii State FCU member for more than 28 years, she currently advises Hawaiian Electric leadership on enterprise initiatives and corporate strategy after previously serving as a partner at the law firm Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel.
"Our board of directors plays an important role in helping guide the long-term success of Hawaii State FCU and ensuring we continue delivering value to our members," President and CEO Andrew Rosen said in a statement. "Darcy is a respected leader with a strong track record of serving Hawaii's business community."
Endo-Omoto joins board Chair John Katahira and eight other volunteer directors responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the credit union. Hawaii State FCU also thanked outgoing board member Monica Toguchi-Ryan for more than seven years of service, crediting her with helping steer the organization through a period of growth and transformation.
