HONOLULU–Hawaii State FCU presented a donation of $5,000 to the Hawaii HomeOwnership Center to support its mission to provide education and information to create successful first-time homeowners in Hawaii.
“At Hawaii State FCU, we are strong advocates of financial literacy, and are committed to providing our members with the tools, resources and knowledge they need to make smart financial decisions throughout their lives,” said Andrew Rosen, president and CEO of Hawaii State FCU. “We are proud to support the Hawaii HomeOwnership Center and we applaud their efforts to be a source of education and guidance to Hawaii’s families and new homeowners.”
The Hawaii HomeOwnership Center works to substantially increase the number of successful homeowners in the state by reaching out to low and moderate income families. It address barriers and provide resources to help first-time homeowners reach their goals. Hawaii State FCU has donated more than $20,000 to the Hawaii HomeOwnership Center over the past four years.
