KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii — The Hawai’i HomeOwnership Center (HHOC) is pleased to announce that Michael McCray has joined as the center’s new Counselor / Coach.
The HHOC is a non-profit organization with a mission to help Hawaii families achieve their dreams of homeownership. McCray has more than 10 year’s experience in one-on-one financial counseling/coaching and money management.
“The Hawai’i HomeOwnership Center provides such important and much needed services,” said Tricia Buskirk, HCFCU President and CEO. “We’re glad that we’re able to share our space with them so that our members and the community can take advantage of all they have to offer. ”
The Hawaii HomeOwnership Center provides education, information and support to create successful first-time homeowners in Hawai'i. By addressing barriers and increasing rates of home ownership,
the HomeOwnership Center aims to build stronger families and communities throughout the state of Hawai'i.
HHOC’s goal is to assure that homebuyers understand the purchase process as well as the resources available to them. It offers:
- Homebuyer Education classes (live sessions and an online version)
- Individualized Counseling
- Workshops
- Refresher classes
- Post-purchase counseling/services
