CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--Harvard University Employees Credit Union announced results of its recent board elections.
Four incumbents were elected and will be joined by a new board member, Gonzalo Muñoz Sanz. Elected Directors: Dennis Campbell, Dee Dee Chen, Thomas Lucey, Gonzalo Muñoz Sanz, and Jerry Murphy.
HUECU said it thanks former Board Member Jim Barrows for his two terms of service on the HUECU Board. Barrows stepped down from the Board upon retiring after almost 19 years of exceptional service to Harvard University.
As Associate Director of Community Affairs and Economic Development at Harvard, Jim built strong relationships within Harvard and the surrounding community, including local organizations and neighbors. Jim’s dedication to serving the community often included attending wakes, providing meals, and even carrying packages to help neighbors.
“Jim Barrows has been such a great contributor to our organization. He will be missed.” said HUECU President/CEO, Craig Leonard. “We wish him the best of luck during his retirement.”
