Hanscom Federal Credit Union Promotes Two Executives

LITTLETON, Mass.– Hanscom Federal Credit Union has promoted two senior executives.

Sue Dunbar was promoted to Senior Vice President, Residential Lending. She joined Hanscom FCU in 2016 as Vice President, Mortgage Lending, managing mortgage sales, processing, and servicing. Effective August 1, Dunbar will begin overseeing Hanscom FCU’s 11-person home equity lending team, bringing a total of 34 employees under her purview.

Dan Picard

Prior to joining Hanscom FCU, Dunbar worked for several credit unions in the Boston area. She has amassed considerable knowledge of the mortgage lending industry, and the expertise she brings to her new role will be key in advancing Hanscom FCU’s overall strategic plan.

Dan Picard, who was named Senior Vice President, Consumer Lending & Collections, joined Hanscom FCU in 2019 as a vice president. He oversaw lending areas including home equity, direct and indirect lending, student loans, and collections. In his new role, Picard, who has held senior-level positions in the credit union industry for 25 years, will develop and lead the strategic and operational plans for direct and indirect lending to support the credit union’s overarching strategic plan.

Picard holds a B.S.B.A. from Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School in Boston.
