LITTLETON, Mass. – Hanscom Federal Credit Union has named Penelope (Penny) Swallow Chief Financial Officer.
“Penny’s purpose-driven approach will be invaluable to our organization as we evolve and grow,” said Peter Rice, Hanscom FCU’s President/CEO. “Her values mirror our own set of values – Members First, Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation, and Empathy – and with Penny leading our Finance & Accounting department, Hanscom FCU will continue to fulfil its mission to be the trusted advisor that people turn to for unbiased financial guidance.” Swallow brings extensive experience with finance, budgeting, accounting, and treasury within credit unions and other financial institutions to her role at Hanscom FCU. She was the Vice President of Finance for UniBank for Savings, where she was responsible for the Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO), budgeting, treasury, and accounting for the organization. Prior to this, she worked in roles of increasing management responsibility at St Anne’s Credit Union, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, Bancware, and Rockland Trust.
