HIALEAH, Fla. – Hialeah Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union has a new vice president. Credit Union Resources said it conducted an intense regional search, and Patricia Gersack was selected to serve as the vice president of the $11-million dollar credit union.
With more than 30 years of significant experience within the financial services industry and within the community, Gersack will help Hialeah Municipal Employees continue its mission to improve the lives of its members through exceptional service. Gersack is recognized in the industry for problem resolution, proven leadership, and risk-management skills.
Gersack comes to Hialeah Municipal Employees from Florida Community Bank in Weston, Fla., where she served as an enhanced due diligence consultant. Gersack was responsible for performing in-depth investigations on high-risk customer accounts.
Prior to working at Florida Community Bank, Gersack was the vice president/BSA specialist at Community Bank of Broward in Weston, Fla., where she was responsible for the support of all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Program.
Gersack attended the Annual Florida Bankers BSA School and seminars at South Florida Compliance. She is also affiliated with the Mortgage Bankers Association and has served as its president and governor.
