AUSTIN, Texas–Greater Texas Credit Union has launched its partnership with KOFE: Knowledge of Financial Education to provide educational seminars and financial coaches to credit union members.
KOFE’s qualified financial coaches and compelling educational tools provide practical lessons on money matters that individuals can use every day, the credit union said.
“This powerful knowledge not only improves their financial health, it also eases the emotional turmoil that economic struggles bring,” said Greater Texas CU. “Founded in 1993, and with over two decades of experience, they have helped more than five-million people become better money managers. By offering both financial coaching and educational instruction, the learning process is maximized, which enhances a person’s ability to become financially independent.
Greater Texas CU said it has made it a priority to provide no cost financial education to members and business partners for more than 10 years, and this new partnership will help expand those services.
