SAN MARCOS, Texas–Greater Texas Credit Union held a Grand Opening Celebration for its new free-standing, full-service branch here.
Greater Texas Credit Union CEO & President Howard Baker and COO Jason Goodman shared a few words to kick-off the celebration, while Board Chairman Wesley Yeager spoke about the exciting growth happening in San Marcos.
In honor of the credit union’s previous president & CEO, Thomas Dee Seargeant, class of 1968, and his 40 years of service to the members of Greater Texas FCU, the credit union, along with matching funds from the McCoy Foundation, presented an endowed scholarship of $50,000 in Seargeant’s name to Kent Hamilton, executive director of the McCoy College of Business Foundation & assistant dean of the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University.
