ARLINGTON, Texas–Greater Texas Credit Union Arlington branch staff hosted a school supply drive from July 17 through August 4 to support Mission Arlington by providing local students with basic supplies needed when starting school. Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex helped more than 9,000 students with school supplies in 2016.
Greater Texas has supported Mission Arlington for more than 10 years with various projects (equipment and furniture donations, monetary donations, Easter Egg Drive, food drives and Christmas toy drives) and has supported the School Supply Drive for approximately five years.
Reagan Martin, Greater Texas Credit Union Regional Branch Manager, said, “We support Mission Arlington because they are an amazing organization which truly helps the less fortunate in Arlington. They utilize hundreds of volunteers and offer a multitude of services to assist people with their physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual needs.”
