BUDA, Texas– Greater TEXAS FCU was a top donor for the new Buda Veterans Memorial, and was recognized at a dedication ceremony here.
The Buda Veterans Memorial was an Eagle Scout project by Brandon Garcia who spearheaded the organization and fundraising. This is the first veteran’s memorial in Buda and the dedication ceremony was very well attended by local city and county officials and members of the community.
Separately, Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union (GTFCU) had its grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration for its new free-standing, full-service branch located at 5433 Kyle Center Dr., Kyle, Texas.
More than 40 community members, Kyle Chamber members, city staff including the Mayor and potential members were on hand to kick-off the Grand Opening Celebration. Light refreshments from local businesses were offered to attendees and members who showed up throughout the day.
This marks the first GTFCU branch in Kyle and the 18th location across the state of Texas. The new branch includes 2 drive-thru lanes, remote and traditional teller stations inside, and an 24-hour ATM to better serve the credit union members.
The new Kyle branch will participate in the CO-OP Shared Branch Service Center Network and the ATM Alliance allowing GTFCU the ability to serve members of over 5,000 other credit union locations.
