CARSON CITY, Nev.– Nick Serrano, vice president of mortgage sales at Greater Nevada Mortgage (GNM), has been selected as the national co-chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) education networking group.
Serrano will help run and facilitate the MBA’s education networking group, serving alongside other mortgage bankers from across the United States.
Serrano currently leads all mortgage consultant training at GNM, a subsidiary of Greater Nevada Credit Union. The enhanced education that stems from Serrano’s new role in the MBA will strengthen the education of all mortgage consultants at GNM. MBA is the only association representing all segments of the real estate finance industry. The organization unites the interests of diverse stakeholders, from main street to wall street, spanning all aspects of real estate finance, including commercial, multifamily and residential. “It’s an honor to be selected as the co-chair for the MBA’s education networking group,” Serrano said. “I’m thrilled to bring my expertise and knowledge from GNM to steer the curriculum of the MBA’s education networking group for others across the country.” “We’re proud that Nick has taken the extra initiative to expand his mortgage banking expertise and lead learning opportunities for mortgage bankers across the country,” said James Anderson, executive vice president, Greater Nevada Mortgage. “Nick’s training and breadth of mortgage consulting experience is a great benefit to our mortgage consultants and truly helps our clients Move to Greater.”
