CARSON CITY, Nev. – As it marks its 70th anniversary, Greater Nevada Credit Union has won four “Best Of” awards in its service areas. GNCU’s subsidiary Greater Nevada Mortgage also received several awards.
This fall GNCU received first place for “Best Credit Union” and “Best Bank” by the Reno News & Review (RN&R); “Best Financial Institute” for 13 years running in the Nevada Appeal’s Carson City Readers’ Choice Awards; and “Best Bank/Credit Union” in The Record-Courier’s Best of Carson Valley Awards.
GNCU’s wholly owned subsidiary, Greater Nevada Mortgage (GNM), received three “Best Of” awards: second place for “Best Mortgage Company” in RN&R’s Best of Northern Nevada Awards; second “Best Mortgage Company” from the Nevada Appeal; and third “Best Mortgage Lender” from The Record-Courier.
