Each year, Genisys Credit Union sponsors a multitude of “Making a Difference” campaigns, which support and serve communities across Michigan. Events include OLHSA and Macomb Walk for Warmth, which are annual walking events to raise funds to help those in need of heating assistance during Michigan’s winter months; The Letter Carriers Stamp out Hunger is an annual single day food drive event where food is collected and distributed to local food agencies; Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, and numerous events throughout local communities.
In addition to supporting its communities, Genisys said it is committed to expanding knowledge about financial literacy. For both members and non-members, there is access to a weekly blog series and e-books on the Genisys website that cover topics from the cost of raising a child to saving for college to understanding credit to buying a first car.
