AUBURN HILLS, Mich.– Genisys Credit Union matched donations up to $5,000 for Huron-Clinton Metroparks Giving Tuesday Campaign to build an accessible playground for all ages and abilities at Kensington Metropark Maple Beach.
“Genisys is proud to support its community partners in their endeavors to create an inclusive and accessible community for all,” said Jackie Buchanan, president / CEO of Genisys Credit Union. “We are excited to see the playground come to life and provide plenty of fun opportunities for children and adults of all abilities."
The playground will be a fun, accessible, and inclusive play area that will feature rubber safety surfacing, sensory-friendly equipment, transfer-stations onto the playscape, spaces for quiet independent play, dignity landings on slides, and much more. Construction is expected to be completed in fall 2020.
