STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich.– Genisys Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of their new branch here with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new branch is located at 35790 Van Dyke Ave, between 15 and 16 Mile Roads, just north of MJR Cinema. Genisys was joined by the Sterling Heights Chamber of Commerce at the opening.
“We are excited to be joining the Sterling Heights community,” said Jackie Buchanan, CEO of Genisys Credit Union. “We are looking forward to being able to provide financial services to current and future members of the Sterling Heights and overall Macomb County area.”
The credit union said it continues to focus on serving its members’ and communities’ needs. With the launch of the very popular Genius Checking account, Genisys is paying its members an annual percentage yield of 4.06% and offering reward points on debit card transactions. Along with financial support, each year Genisys team members contribute nearly 5,000 volunteer hours and sponsor over 975 events to benefit everyone who lives or works in their communities.
Genisys was a proud sponsor and excited to partner with the City of Sterling Heights Parks & Recreation on events throughout the summer like Sterlingfest and the Music in the Park series.
