Garden Savings' Golf Tourney Raises $15K For Charities

PARSIPPANY, N.J.— Garden Savings FCU here raised $15,000 for two local charitable groups at its 6th Annual Golf Outing.

The outing was attended by over 100 credit union professionals and industry business partners—the credit union’s largest outing to date. The proceeds will be split between the Children’s Specialized Hospital of New Brunswick and the Rutgers Youth Education and Success Center (YE2S Center) of Newark.

“Our outing continues to grow each and every year and we have successfully increased our contribution to these great organizations accordingly,” said Lou Vetere, president and CEO of Garden Savings.  “The Children’s Specialized Hospital and the YE2S Center are fantastic organizations that do well to help children lead better lives and that is a cause near and dear to my heart and to all of the people involved in this event.  We could not make this event the successful one it is, however, without the assistance and financial support of our sponsors, particularly our premier sponsors.  I would like to pass along my sincere gratitude to each and every person that endured the 97-degree temperatures and made our 6th Annual Golf Outing a tremendous event.”
