TAMPA, Fla.– GTE Financial’s Vice President of member consumer lending, Tina Narron, is a finalist in the Be More Involved category of WEDU’s 2014 Be More Awards. Narron was nominated for her involvement with Wheels of Success, a local nonprofit that provides reliable transportation solutions to families and individuals.
Created to pay tribute to heroes in the community served by WEDU, the multifaceted awards program showcases the best work by nonprofit organizations and the individuals who support them. The Be More Involved category is the Mason Dixon Award for Volunteerism and recognizes individuals who make an extraordinary difference in the community.
Narron was integral in GTE’s partnership with and support of Wheels of Success and their Build-A-Car program, as well as implementing a special auto loan program at GTE Financial to better meet the financing needs of Wheels of Success program participants.
